Our cozy fully self contained cottage provides guests with a private retreat to relax and unwind.

Annie's Cottage is set in the heart of beautiful rural Hawke's Bay farm land at "Waiwhenua". Guests have called our Cottage and farm "a little slice of heaven."

Our recently renovated, fully self contained, three bedroom ,historic farm cottage has extensive views over farm land and beyond to the cliffs of the trout filled Tutaekuri River.

"Annie's Cottage" is in the heart of the large intensive sheep, cattle, deer farm.

Relax, unwind and treat yourselves to the best farmstay Hawkes Bay has to offer.

Annies Cottage has very private and quiet surroundings. A special place to wind down, relax and enjoy your stay. Families very welcome.

In addition to our wonderful swimming pool at the homestead we have an excellent swimming and trout fishing river on the property. We can guide you to the best fishing holes on the river (season October - April) Rental equipment and local Fishing Guide can be available with prior arrangements.

An extensive farm tour is offered to those that are interested. Meet our many farm animals and feed our pet sheep Tigger and Ben and during the season you can feed our pet calf.

Many mountain and lake walks and fishing within 20-30 minutes drive. A great base to explore the greater Hawkes Bay area.

Soak up the atmosphere of a working family Hawkes Bay farm. Enjoy the hospitality of your hosts Kirsty and Gary and family at the Waiwhenua historic homestead for a swim, coffee, a beer on the veranda or just a chat.

Meals can be arranged for guests (usually home grown beef, lamb or venison) with prior notice. Either self serve at the cottage or served with the family at the homestead.
